Wind

energy’s

share

of

generation

is

expected

to

continue
increasing

through

2016

with

developers

requesting

22.6GW

of

interconnection
with

ERCOT.

About

20%

to

25%

of

that

amount

is

expected

to

be

built.

ERCOT

manages

the

flow

of

electric

power

to

23

million
customers

within

most

of

Texas,

representing

85%

of

the

state’s

electric

load.

Texas

is

by

far

the

largest

US

wind

state

with

more

than

12GW
of

installations.
