Meeting Being Held In Favor Of Huntington Wind Energy Project

WARREN, Ind. (21Alive) — Those in favor of a proposed wind energy project in Huntington County, will be meeting later tonight in Warren.

Individuals in favor of wind mill construction have formed a group called “Citizens For Wind Power” that will be meeting tonight at 7:30, a the Knight Civic Center.. The topic of discussion will be the proposed $195 million wind energy project that has seen it’s share of controversy.

Organizers are planning to show survey data of people who support and are against the wind energy proposal, among other issues.

A community wide information meeting will be held later this week on May 14th, at the Huntington North High School.
