Connecticut commercial and industrial building owners are invited to a Solar Power Open House Saturday, Aug. 3, at Energy Systems Sales Training LLC (ESST) at 233 Mill Street in Waterbury. From 9 to 10 a.m., a representative from the Connecticut Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority (CEFIA) will discuss how C-PACE-Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy programs can help building owners finance energy-efficiency and clean-energy improvements with solar power for tax and cost savings. A QA session will follow the presentation with the CEFIA representative and ESST executives. Tours will be given from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., of ESST’s rooftop where a 45 KW solar PV system was recently installed for an estimated $11,000 in annual cost savings.

Marcel Veronneau, founder of ESST, has just installed a 182 solar energy panel system on the rooftop of ESST’s 3,300 square foot building. “ESST is hosting the Aug. 3 Open House to introduce ‘green’ oriented commercial and industrial building owners, and ‘green’ builders to the many benefits of affordable, renewable solar energy. By attending the Open House, visitors can talk directly with CEFIA about C-PACE programs and learn about different ways the Federal Government and the State of Connecticut can assist with obtaining funding for the installation of a solar PV system.”

Veronneau continued, “We installed our 45 KW Solar Photovoltaic System on our rooftop on July 7, and we have already calculated that we will save over $11,000 in electricity bills for the first year of operation of the solar PV system. Our system is fully grid-tied to Northeast Utilities which instantly reduced our electrical bill. This solar PV system produces enough energy to power the equivalent of nine residential homes with each panel producing 250 watts of electrical power. We guarantee that when a solar PV system is installed correctly, it has the capability to provide measurable cost, and tax, savings during the lifetime of the building.”

To reserve a seat at the Aug. 3 Energy Systems Sales Training LLC’s Solar Power Open House, and their cost-saving newly-installed solar power system, contact ESST at 203-841-0092, visit, or contact ESST LLC Founder Marcel Veronneau at or directly at 203-808-2544.
