Solar power is the conversion of sunlight into energy, either directly using photovoltaic (PV), or indirectly using concerted solar power (CSP). Concentrated solar power systems use lenses or mirrors and tracking methods to center a huge area of sunlight into a small beam. Photovoltaic converts light into electric current using the photoelectric effect. Each of these two kinds of solar energy necessitates the manufacture of two single types of solar panels.

One is entitled a solar collector which is used to warm water and then store it in a tank for sharing when required. The other sort of panel is called a solar panel, or more officially, a photovoltaic panel. Solar panels collect the light rays from the Sun and change it into direct current electricity, which can then be altered to alternating current using an inverter. Intense Solar Power (CSP) systems utilize lenses or mirrors and tracking systems to direct a large part of sunlight into a small shaft of light.
