Solar power is the renovation of sunlight into energy, either directly using photovoltaic (PV), or circuitously using resolute solar power (CSP). Concentrated solar power systems use lenses or mirrors and tracking techniques to focus a big area of sunlight into a small beam. Photovoltaic converts light into electric current using the photoelectric effect. Each of these two sorts of solar energy calls for the manufacture of two separate sorts of solar panels.

One is named a solar collector that is used to warm up water and then store it in a tank for dispersal when needed. The other form of panel is called a solar panel, or more properly, a photovoltaic panel. Solar panels gather the light rays from the Sun and convert it into direct current electricity, that can then be converted to alternating current using an inverter. Concerted Solar Power (CSP) systems utilize lenses or mirrors and tracking systems to focus a large area of sunlight into a small ray.
