Spain : Iberdrola Signs Wind Farm Maintenance Agreement With The General …

IBERDROLA has signed a wind farm maintenance contract with the consortium made up of General Electric and Spain s Tamoin Energias Renovables for nearly 400 megawatts (MW) in Spain.

The three-year renewable contract, with a possible two year extension, covers predictive and preventative maintenance of 310 General Electric wind turbines at nine of IBERDROLA s wind farms in Spain, namely the

Cuesta Colorada, Cerro Calderon, Cerro Palo, Muela 1, Maza, Calleja, Isabela, Sierra Quemada and Gavilanes facilities, located in the Spanish provinces of Murcia, Cuenca and Albacete.

Under this agreement, the General Electric-Tamoin Energias Renovables consortium will oversee maintenance activities, guaranteeing the strict levels of availability and response times required by IBERDROLA Group.
