We’ll continue our Energy Super Hero series with a look at how to save on heating costs. There are plenty of simple ways to keep the heat inside your home, and Wayne Groszko, the Renewable Energy Coordinator with the Ecology Action Centre will be in at 6:45 with his tips.

Nova Scotia Auditor General Jacques Lapointe will be retiring on Friday, almost eight years after taking on the role.  He’ll table his final report on Thursday, but first, he’ll join us in studio at 7:15 to talk about his past investigations and the changes he’s brought about as a result.

The HMCS Sackville has been an historic landmark on the Halifax waterfront for many years. On Thursday, a new plan for honouring and preserving the ship and her legacy will be unveiled.  At 7:45, we’ll get a sneak peek from Ted Kelly of the Battle of the Atlantic Place working group.

A premiere cocktail event is coming to Halifax, but we’ll get a preview of Imbibe at 8:15 from Katrina Roberts of Morris East.

Musician and singer Taryn Kawaja’s sound has been described as, “sweet, haunting and gorgeous.” We’ll get to hear for ourselves when Taryn drops by for a chat and performance at 8:45, a delicious preview of her Thursday night performance at the In the Dead of Winter festival.
