Keep hydrated

Skiing is a very strenuous activity, which means you can become dehydrated easily. This is particularly true at higher altitudes, where the air is drier. Not drinking enough water could cause headaches, fatigue and can even affect your physical performance on the slopes. Always carry a bottle of water with you and make sure you drink enough fluids throughout the day. If you want a break from water, try drinking fruit juice for a refreshing alternative. Although fruit juice can help to keep your energy levels up, be mindful of juices which contain large amounts of sugar.
